At Carpenter Place, as a houseparent, from the everyday to the eternal, you can make a difference in the life of a young person.   Working with children from troubled backgrounds requires patience and caring and a true servant’s heart.  But there are behavioral skills and principles that can be learned and practiced, giving houseparents the tools to be effective in this ministry.  We invite you to learn more.

Qualifications

• Spiritual and emotional maturity
• Psychiatric or mental health experience preferred
• Active Church of Christ members
• Experienced with children and/or willing to learn
• Married couple
• At minimum, high school diploma
