We believe every child deserves a stable and loving home environment. That is the environment we provide to every girl who steps foot on our campus. The children's home started out on a 40 acre farm that extended from 13th Street north to 16th Street between St. Paul and Meridian streets. Though a bit smaller today, our beautiful campus resides on 13 acres at 1501 N Meridian and is a true oasis for those we serve. We invite you to drop by and tour our campus any time to see for yourself the haven for hurting girls that resides right in the heart of Wichita.
Cross Bar Cottage serves as our "relief" cottage and is home to houseparents Luke & Jennifer Campbell.
Barrett Cottage serves as one of our primary cottages and is home to our houseparents Adam & Kayti Allen.
Bolin is one of our primary cottages and is home to House Parents Aaron & Denise Arthaud.
Harrold serves as the home for our CEO Brady and his family.
The Marguerite Rountree Nicolay Campus Center is the center of activity on our campus and was named in honor of a Wichita business owner and great supporter of children's causes. Many events - from networking luncheons to fundraisers - are held here as the facility is available to rent.
This tower houses our campus bell. It is our tradition to ring the bell, loud and proud, whenever something good happens on campus, such as when one of our girls is reunited with her family.
Former CEO Bill Rhodes built this facility to provide an area for campus and community activities to occur.
From the moment you drive through our gates you are greeted by the beauty of our campus and the hard work and generosity of many caring volunteers and supporters.
This new tree, recognizing the financial commitment of numerous individuals, churches, foundations, and estates, stands proudly in our Campus Center. It is flanked by two canvases where all residents are encouraged to make their permanent mark as part of the Carpenter Place family.
