TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of children from hard places. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.

Through equipping our staff with these principles, we are

able to practice TBRI® within our program to help better

connect & meet them where they are. We are also working

to bring these principles to the community at-large through

outreach courses, hopefully helping some families to better

connect and communicate without the need for residential

placement.
